I use drawing and video as forums to examine my multiple roles/identities as academic, mentor, wife, mother, and artist. These often conflicting demands become fodder for commentary that may read as critical self-reflection and/or institutional critique.  The line between internalized perceptions and outer appearance are hard to distinguish.
